Today on stage the semifinals!

As expected, this morning, the semifinals gave great performance in each field! All the children played until the end of the matches with the greatest commitment and for many matches the last seconds of play have been decisive!
ASD Virtus Siena, in the playing field of Limena, leads for the most part the semifinal, but afterwards gives in for just a point difference against ASD Basket Dolo Dolphins 2003. At the end of this match the atmosphere of the gym catches fire, thanks to the wonderful showings of BC Krizevci and Ss Mens Sana 1871 Siena which competed for the ½ place final till the last second! At the end Ss Mens Sana 1871 Siena will have the privilege to take the field to play for the first place of the Epiphany Tournament 2014, together with the other finalist, Centro Minibasket Leoncino, which surpassed Reyer Venezia Oro of just 8 points! Also Basket Petrarca and IC Carrè-Chiuppano-Zanè entertained the gym of Caltana in a match which turned out 34 to 32 in favour of  Padua.
Collego Basket Torino, instead, surpassed of just 3 points Buster Verona and has grabbed the final for the 5/6 place!
Minibasket Bassano gave in against Basket Mogliano ASD for just 7 points, and ASD Basket Salzano ’03 won the final for the 25/26 place winning against ASD Bears Basket 27 to 22.
Also APD Virtus Matera played a point by point semifinal, beating the Gladiators of Oderzo 38 to 31.
The day ended with the usual night at the cinema-theatre, where all the hosted teams have been able to get indigestion of dunks enjoying a film clip dedicated to the most famous NBA players!
Tomorrow, the 5th of January 2014, the final for the ½ place will see Ss Mens Sana 1871 and Centro Minibasket Leoncino taking the field at 3.30 pm. The final for the ¾ place, instead, will be played between the Croatians of BC Krizevci and Reyer Venezia Oro at 12 pm.
